About these Terms

These Terms govern AionSec.ai, AionSec accounts, the Build Your Own Agentic Defense course, AionSec Labs and the associated course materials (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Stephanus Rossouw, doing business as AionSec.ai (“AionSec,” “we,” “us”). Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

Account and eligibility

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly tell us if you believe your account is compromised. You may not share an account or course access with another person. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement; otherwise a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase and agree as permitted by law. The Service is not intended for children.

What you are purchasing

A purchase provides one individual, non-transferable right to access the course shown at Checkout and use its materials and AionSec Labs software for personal learning. The course is self-paced and contains online lessons, Concept labs, local System labs and Build It Yourself work.

“Lifetime access” means access while AionSec continues to operate and support the purchased course. Material updates to that purchased course are included without another course fee. Separately sold future courses and third-party or API costs are excluded.

Price, taxes and payment

The price, currency, promotions, applicable taxes and total payable are displayed before you confirm the purchase. The current public list price for Build Your Own Agentic Defense is USD $499, subject to the offer shown at Checkout. Stripe processes payment.

Before payment, you can review and correct the order, open these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and actively accept these Terms. Your order and the Terms effective on the purchase date form the purchase agreement.

Refunds and cancellation

AionSec offers a full refund if you request it within 14 days after purchase, with no reason required. Request it at info@aionsec.ai. A full refund removes course and Labs access. This promise adds to, and does not replace, rights provided by applicable law.

If AionSec agrees to a partial refund, access remains active unless we tell you otherwise before you accept that resolution. A payment dispute can temporarily suspend access while it is resolved.

Licence and intellectual property

AionSec and its licensors retain ownership of the Service, presentation, original text, graphics, exercises, compiled datasets, software and other protected materials. After a valid purchase, AionSec grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the purchased materials for your own learning during the approved access period.

You may use knowledge, general techniques and your own work product. Unless applicable law or an open-source licence permits it, you may not reproduce, sell, sublicense, publish, distribute, share access to, remove protections from, or create a competing course from AionSec materials. Third-party and open-source components retain their own licences.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data.
• Harm, threaten, harass or deceive another person.
• Distribute malware or unlawfully obtain credentials or information.
• Interfere with the Service, evade access controls, share licences, or abuse download or authentication systems.
• Violate applicable law or another person's rights.

Perform security exercises only in environments you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Course content is educational and does not authorize testing any third-party system.

AionSec Labs, community and third-party services

System labs can require a local model or a third-party model or API account you choose and fund. Provider availability, prices, content rules, privacy and output are governed by your agreement with that provider and are outside AionSec's control.

Under the intended architecture, AionSec does not receive your model API key, prompts or model responses. Protect provider credentials, review provider terms, set spending limits, and do not submit confidential or regulated information unless authorized.

Discord community participation is optional and is not required to access the course. If you choose to link private student access, Discord's terms and privacy practices also apply. The private role follows the associated course entitlement and can be removed after a refund, dispute, access revocation or transfer to another Discord account.

Changes, maintenance and availability

We may make reasonable changes to improve the course, correct errors, maintain security, support compatible platforms or comply with law, and may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance or an incident.

If AionSec permanently discontinues the purchased course, we will provide reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to retain materials AionSec can legally and technically provide. Interactive, hosted, security-sensitive, licensed or third-party-dependent features may not be available for retention or offline use.

We may suspend access during a payment dispute or security investigation. We may terminate access for material breach, fraud, unlawful use, account sharing or attacks on the Service, after any notice or opportunity to cure required by law. Termination does not remove rights or refunds required by law.

Educational information

The Service provides education and examples, not legal advice, compliance certification, employment advice, a guarantee of professional results, or authorization to act on a third-party system. Security outcomes depend on your environment, implementation and judgment. Validate work before using it in production or a real investigation.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without guarantees beyond the express promises in the order and these Terms. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular employment or business result, or continued availability of every third-party tool or provider.

To the extent permitted by law, AionSec is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by unauthorized testing, disclosure of credentials, use of third-party providers, or production use of unvalidated course examples. Nothing excludes or limits liability or a warranty that applicable law does not permit AionSec to exclude or limit.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where AionSec is established, without removing mandatory rights available under the law that applies to you. Contact info@aionsec.ai first if you have a purchase, access or service problem so we can try to resolve it promptly.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively when the Service or law changes. A material change will not retroactively remove a purchased right or mandatory consumer protection. We will provide any notice and obtain any agreement required by law.
